Free and Pro
JS Jobs comes in two editions. The Free package is what you install in Joomla. Pro is installed on top of it from the JS Jobs Update screen with an activation key (see Upgrading to Pro). Everything in Free is also in Pro; the tables below list what Pro adds.

In Free, the Pro-only items still show in the left menu with a Pro badge and open a page describing the feature. The Configurations screens show the Pro-only settings too, marked with a star; in Free they are saved but have no effect.

Packages and payments
Section titled “Packages and payments”Both editions have employer and job seeker packages, and users can get free packages in both. Only Pro can take payment. Its Payment Methods screen has settings for Payza, Alipay, Authorize, Worldpay, Bluepaid, Epay, Eway, Google Checkout, HSBC, Skrill, PayPal, Sagepay, Western Union, 2Checkout, Fastspring, Avangate, Pagseguro, Payfast, iDEAL, VirtueMart, Stripe and “Other”. The VirtueMart option needs a separate VirtueMart plugin that is not part of JS Jobs.
The same in both
Section titled “The same in both”Google Maps on the job, company and resume forms, Google AdSense in the job list, search-engine-friendly URLs, custom fields and search fields work the same way in Free and Pro.

Without an active licence
Section titled “Without an active licence”Pro checks its licence in the administrator and on the website. If the site is not activated for its domain, these Pro screens are switched off: job alerts, messages, folders, exports, payments and purchase history, RSS and the job shortlist. On the website they answer “This feature is not available”; in the administrator they send you back to the dashboard. Everything else keeps working, and nothing is deleted. See Your licence for when a licence counts as active.
