Map, stats and package modules

Three smaller modules: a Google map of jobs, a box of site totals, and a short list of your packages.

Shows the newest live jobs as markers on a Google map. Clicking a marker shows the job title, linking to the job, and optionally the company and category.

Setting Default What it does
Display number of jobs 20 How many of the newest jobs to place on the map.
Company Show Shows the company name in the marker’s pop-up.
Category Show Shows the category in the pop-up.
Module Height 400 The map’s height in pixels.
Map zoom 10 The starting zoom level. Higher numbers zoom in further.
Module Class Joomla’s usual extra CSS class.

A live job is approved and has today within its publishing period. A job is placed at the map point the employer set for it; a job without one is placed by looking up each of its cities on Google. The map starts centred on the default latitude and longitude set under Configurations, and uses the Google Maps API key set there too. Without a valid key, Google doesn’t draw the map. When there are no live jobs, the module shows nothing.

Shows site totals as a grid of numbers. Each Yes/No setting adds or removes one total.

Setting Default Total shown
Show Employer Yes Employers: users with the employer role.
Show Jobseeker Yes Job Seekers: users with the job seeker role.
Show Jobs Yes Jobs: approved jobs, including expired ones.
Show Companies Yes Companies: approved companies.
Show Active Jobs Yes Active Jobs: approved jobs whose publishing period includes today.
Show Resumes Yes Resumes: approved resumes.
Show Today Stats Yes Adds a “today” figure for each total above, such as “+2 Employers today”.
Module Class Joomla’s usual extra CSS class.

The “today” figures count employers and job seekers who got their role today, companies and resumes added today, and approved jobs whose start publishing date is today or later (both Jobs today and Active Jobs today count these).

JS Jobs Stats in the site sidebar: Employers 3, Job seekers 5, Jobs 5, Companies 2, Active Jobs 5 and Resumes 4.

Lists your published packages for employers or for job seekers, newest first, each with its title, price (Free for a price of 0), its main allowances and its short details.

Setting Default What it does
Select Package Employer Employer or Job Seeker packages.
Number of Package 3 How many packages to list, from 1 to 50.
Description Optional text shown above the packages.
Module Class Joomla’s usual extra CSS class.

Employer packages list Companies Allowed, Jobs Allowed, View Resume In Details, Resume Search, Featured Jobs and Gold Jobs. Job seeker packages list Resumes Allowed, Cover Letters Allowed, Apply For Jobs, Job Search, Featured Resume and Gold Resume.

The module only lists packages; it has no buy button or links. The Description is shown as plain text, so it can’t hold a link either; place the module next to a menu link to your packages page. With no published packages it shows “No packages available yet”.

See Modules and plugins. Packages themselves are described in How packages work.
