Uninstalling
-
Go to System → Manage → Extensions.
-
Search for JS Accessibility Fixer, and tick the package: JS Accessibility Fixer, or JS Accessibility Fixer Pro. Type: Package.
-
Press Uninstall and confirm.
Uninstall the package, not the component or a plugin on its own. Joomla doesn’t let you remove a part of the package by itself.
What is removed
Section titled “What is removed”- The component and its plugins.
- Its tables, with the scan results, the problems, the waiting suggestions, the History and the page checks. This can’t be undone.
- The Options, including your AI key.
- In Pro: the scheduled tasks for the monthly scan and nightly suggestions, the licence key and the statement and report settings, and the Pro update address.
Before uninstalling Pro, press Deactivate on this site on the Licence screen if you want to use the licence on another site.
What stays
Section titled “What stays”- Every fix you accepted. It is part of your content, so your alt text, link text, headings and titles stay as they are.
- The accessibility statement article (Pro). It is an ordinary Joomla article; delete it yourself if you no longer want it.
- Article versions saved by the fixes.
Moving from Pro to Free
Section titled “Moving from Pro to Free”Uninstall Pro, then install Free. Because uninstalling removes the tables, Free starts with an empty History; scan again to see your open problems. Don’t uninstall Free to install Pro; install Pro over Free instead. See Upgrade to Pro.
