Where it looks
The scan reads the content your visitors can see. It reads it from where it is stored, in Joomla’s database, so it finds problems even on pages no one has visited yet.
| Content | What is checked | Which ones |
|---|---|---|
| Articles | The intro text, the full text, the Intro Image and the Full Article Image | Published and archived |
| Custom modules | The module’s content | Published Custom modules on the site |
| Menu items | The title, which is the link text in the menu | Published items in site menus |
| Categories | The description and the category image | Published article categories |
With Pro, shop products and job listings can be checked too. See Shops and job boards.
What is skipped
Section titled “What is skipped”- Unpublished and trashed articles, modules, menu items and categories. Drafts are checked once they are published.
- Modules of other types, such as menus or articles lists. Their HTML comes from Joomla or the template, so the page check covers them.
- Administrator modules and menus.
- Your template’s own HTML. The page check covers it.
Languages
Section titled “Languages”Content in every language is checked. Each problem keeps the language of its article, module or category, so AI suggestions are written in that language. See Languages.
While you edit
Section titled “While you edit”You don’t have to scan the whole site after each change. When an article, a Custom module or a category is saved, it is checked at once. See Check on save.
