Suggest fixes on its own

New problems arrive whenever editors add content. With Suggest fixes on its own, the AI suggests a fix for each new problem every night. In the morning they are waiting in the Fix Queue. Nothing changes on your site: you still accept each fix.

  1. Go to the dashboard. In Keeps working on its own, find Suggest fixes on its own.

  2. Press Turn On.

  3. The message says Fixes will now be suggested every night. They wait for you in the Fix Queue. The row now shows On and the next run, such as Next run Saturday, 31 October 2026 02:00.

The Keeps working on its own card with Check on save, Monthly scan and Suggest fixes on its own all On, with the dates of the next monthly scan and the next nightly run.

Turn On creates a task in Joomla’s Scheduled Tasks, JS Accessibility Fixer: suggest fixes, that runs every day at 02:00. You need the right to create scheduled tasks. See Scheduled tasks and cron for how Joomla runs it.

  • It looks for open problems that have no suggestion yet, such as those found when an article was saved, and asks the AI for a fix for each, up to 100 a run.
  • Video titles, heading and table fixes, and labels from a placeholder are made without AI.
  • It stops at your monthly spend cap. The rest wait for next month or a higher cap.
  • It doesn’t suggest again for a problem you rejected or undid. You decided on those; ask for a new suggestion in the Fix Queue when you want one.
  • It doesn’t scan. New problems come from check on save, from Scan Now, and from the monthly scan.

The dashboard’s Waiting for you card shows how many suggestions are ready.

Each run writes a line in the task’s log, under System → Scheduled Tasks → Execution History, such as Fixes suggested: 7. Problems that could not get one: 0. If no AI is set up, it says No AI is set up in Options, so only video titles were suggested.

Open System → Scheduled Tasks and edit JS Accessibility Fixer: suggest fixes. Change its time there, or disable it. If you delete it, Turn On on the dashboard creates it again.
